Terms of Service
We've written these in plain English. The expectations are clear on both sides — what we commit to delivering, and what we ask of you in return.
Last updated: 1 April 2026
1. Using Flowody
By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you're signing up on behalf of a business, you're confirming you have the authority to do so.
We'd rather be upfront about how this works than bury things in fine print. If something here doesn't make sense, ask us before you proceed.
2. Your account
Keep your login details secure. Don't share your password, and if you think someone else has access to your account, let us know immediately at support@flowody.com.
One subscription covers one business. You can add team members under your account, but you can't on-sell or share access to Flowody with people outside your business.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Flowody is billed monthly or yearly in Australian Dollars (AUD) including GST. Here's how it works:
- Your 30-day free trial starts when you create your account. No payment is taken until the trial ends.
- Monthly plans: Cancel any time before your next billing date and you won't be charged for the following period. No refunds for the current month.
- Annual plans: Annual pricing reflects a significant discount compared to monthly billing. Because of that, annual payments are non-refundable — but if you choose to cancel, your access continues in full until the end of your paid year. Nothing cuts off early.
- Failed payments: If a payment doesn't go through, we'll notify you and give you 7 days to update your billing details before access is suspended. We won't cut anyone off without warning.
- If prices change, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before your next renewal.
4. Acceptable use
Flowody is built for trade and service businesses doing legitimate work. We ask that you don't use it to:
- Send spam or unsolicited messages to customers
- Try to access another account's data
- Upload malicious files or illegal content
- Copy, reverse-engineer, or resell any part of the platform
- Do anything unlawful
Accounts that seriously or repeatedly breach these terms may be suspended or closed. We'll use judgement rather than a zero-tolerance approach, and we'll tell you what's happened.
5. Your data
The content you create in Flowody — jobs, customers, invoices, quotes, and uploaded files — remains your property. We hold it on your behalf to deliver the service and for no other purpose.
Upon cancellation or account closure, data is retained for a period in line with our Privacy Policy before being permanently deleted. Requests relating to your data should be directed to support@flowody.com.
6. Uptime and availability
We aim to keep Flowody running reliably. Planned maintenance is communicated in advance where possible, and unplanned outages are something we take seriously. We won't be liable for losses from temporary interruptions, but we will fix issues as fast as we can.
We may add, change, or retire features over time. If we're removing something you rely on, we'll give you fair warning before it's gone.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted under Australian law, Flowody's liability is capped at the subscription fees you've paid in the 12 months before any claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Nothing here overrides your rights under the Australian Consumer Law — those protections remain in full.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute that can't be resolved between us will be handled in the courts of Victoria.
9. Changes to these terms
This applies to changes in these legal terms only — not to product updates, new features, or changes to the Flowody interface. We ship improvements to the product regularly and without prior notice.
If we update these terms in a meaningful way, we'll email you at least 7 days before the change takes effect. Carrying on with Flowody after that date is taken as acceptance of the updated terms.
Something not clear?
If any part of these terms raises a question, ask us before you proceed. We'd rather clarify upfront than have a misunderstanding later.
